Stakeholder Communications Manager

Working for a leading public sector body as a Stakeholder Communications Manger paying £46K based in London 2/3 days a week and the rest working from home. This is a permanent role with great benefits working for a positive, creative, fun team.

Key responsibilities

  • This is a fantastic opportunity managing a team of 4 in Communications, Events and Digital. You will be responsible for all strategic stakeholder engagement comms with key external stakeholders.
  • As a key stakeholder manager you will work closely with policy, press and regional teams as well as a wider internal and external teams.
  • Lead on engagement communications strategy and plans. Own and update the Communications long term strategy and annual communications plan
  • Plan and deliver an evaluation approach to communications, ensuring delivery of the right communications to the right audience at the right time using the appropriate channels
  • Acting as brand guardian; overseeing the consistency and development of corporate messaging, branded materials and communications
  • Oversee the delivery of a national events throughout the year, ensuring spend is used effectively, tracked and reported on a monthly basis.

Key skills

  • Strong background (5+ years) in Marketing and Communications. Able to develop strategies and plans in an environment with both financial and political constraints.
  • Strong stakeholder skills to be assertive with clear communications.
  • Experience of managing small teams and developing a positive, creative and fun working environment.
  • Experience of leading the development of integrated communication strategies and delivering insight-driven campaigns across a range of marketing communication channels
  • An understanding, gained through practical experience, of events management.
  • Knowledge of working with a CRM System, preferably Salesforce.
