A60 Mobile Crane Operator

This is a full-time on-site role for a A60 Mobile Crane Operator at NXGEN Lifting. The operator will be responsible for operating and driving our mobile crane, ensuring safety and efficiency in lifting activities. The job is site based but will be required to travel to and from our depot based in Warrington.

Qualifications

  • Lifting equipment operation and safety skills
  • Knowledge of different lifting equipment and applications
  • Strong attention to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
  • Previous experience in the lifting or construction industry

Essential

  • Blue CPCS card for Mobile Cranes (red card accepted).
  • Clean driving licence, with valid HGV licence

Desired but not essential

  • CPCS A66a Compact Crane
  • CPCS A62 Lift Supervisor
  • CPCS A40 Slinger/Signaller

The ideal candidate

  • Will be a team player who demonstrates a "can do" attitude to help achieve company goals.
  • Ability to think on your feet and work well under pressure
  • Drive the crane from the depot and arrive on the requested site at the time of request.
  • Set up the crane as per the relevant machine manufacturers' operating manual
  • Complete operator timesheet relevant to the requested hire.
  • Carry out pre-operational checks on machine as required and complete company documentation identifying any issues arising from those checks.
  • Complete routine maintenance as required with the assistance of the crane engineer as required.
