Hours: 8am till 5pm
Salary: £45,000
As an Electro Mechanical Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Service technicians to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Working closely with other designers, engineers, quality, and production engineers to ensure successful and profitable production.
- Utilising reverse engineering techniques to gather design data for existing tooling.
- Producing detailed drawing sets in accordance with commercial, aerospace, and military standards.
- Controlling and distributing design schemes, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation in alignment with Quality procedures.
- Planning, organising, and effectively managing workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Maintaining comprehensive and traceable technical files for each project.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Solidworks.
- Strong computer literacy, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Formal engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Successful completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship and/or a college ONC/HNC/HND/university qualification.
