IT Systems & Support Specialist
I am delighted to present an exciting opportunity for one of my clients based in Telford who are looking for an IT Systems & Support Specialist.
5 days a week on site with 1 day a week working from 1.30 pm to 9:30pm on site with Head of IT
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the IT Department in order to support UK subsidiary operating processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide front line user support for all aspects of IT systems
- Ownership of support tickets, ensuring they are accurate, updated in a timely manner and service providers actively managed.
- Administer and maintain integrity of systems, processes, data security and access control.
- Hardware, software and system installation, migration and decommissioning.
- Audit and inventory
- Maintenance of documentation
- Involvement in IT projects as agreed with Head of IT Department
Your experience will include:
- GCSE grade A*-C or equivalent in Maths, English and ICT
- Customer service-oriented approach to provide a high-quality IT support service to all levels of the business.
- Positive and approachable character who can easily relate to the needs of end users.
- Excellent verbal communication and written word skills.
- Analytical, organised and efficient.
- Keen attention to detail; able to ensure work is checked for accuracy before submission.
