Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Network Engineer based in Leeds
Initally a contract role with the potential for it to progress into a permanent position
Outside IR35 contract
The successful candidate must
- Have a minimum of 2 – 3 years' experience of working in a large LAN/WAN data and ideally telephony communications
- Have knowledge and experience of ARUBA/Cisco IOS
- Used management tools such as PRTG
- Possess a good understanding of the IP Addressing, DNS/DHCP and general TCP/IP protocol suite
- Be experienced in configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls inclusive of ACLs, NAT and PAT, IPSEC and SSL VPNs
- Have an understanding of network security issues and their importance within the context of a health environment
- Be able to work within a Microsoft environment. (Windows Server 2016 and newer)
- Follow ITIL Service Delivery and support processes
- Handled Backup and Restores (Snapshots / Full System)
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of standard office applications such as Excel, Word and Visio
- Have knowledge of FortiNet Equipment
- *CCNA Certification is required*
