Job Title: Materials Coordinator

Main Objective - Materials Coordinator
Coordinate timely, cost-effective movement of materials, products, and support services within a warehouse / factory environment, ensuring company performance targets. Duties include receiving goods, kitting, cell replenishment, and managing common parts.
Key Responsibilities - Materials Coordinator
- Working withing a Warehouse / Factory environment
- Receive, check, and log materials in the computer system.
- Load/unload delivery vehicles using a forklift.
- Assist in meeting departmental Key Performance Indicators and support the 6-S program.
- Prepare and record kitted parts for manufacturing.
- Manage First In First Out for materials and issue manufacturing orders daily.
- Handle unplanned requirements via requisition and NCR systems.
- Ensure stock is properly stored, labelled, and secure; contribute to stock minimization.
- Maintain replenishment systems for cells and consumables.
- Dispose of materials and recycle packaging.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience - Materials Coordinator
- Good numeracy, literacy, and computer skills with material handling experience.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities with alternative solution-seeking.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Knowledge of JIT and KANBAN processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Team player able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous warehouse / factory experience beneficial
