Job Role - HR Advisor
Location - Sunderland
Jackson Hogg are looking to recruit a HR Advisor for a fantastic growing manufacturing company based in Sunderland.
Hours - Monday to Thursday - 7:00 - 4:15 and Friday 7:00 - 12:00
Main Responsibilities
A wide variety of duties will form part of the role including:
- Monitoring of lateness and sickness (monthly sickness KPI)
- Internal and external training
- Recruitment
- Investigation and Disciplinary issues
- Performance and absence management
- Completion of Health and Safety records
- Income protection claims
- Succession planning
- Occupational health appointments
- Carrying out inductions
- Event planning
- Payroll
- Maintain policies and procedures
- Ad Hoc duties as required
Requirements
- Experience in a unionised environment
- Good understanding of employment law
- Previous experience at Advisor level
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Level 5 CIPD is desirable
It is expected that the successful candidate will have a good level of relevant experience, excellent communication and IT skills.
This is a flexi-time contract working 40 hours per week.
