Tenant Liaison Officer

As part of our commitment to our residents, we are inviting applications for the role of Tenant Liaison Officer. In this position, you will act as the primary point of contact for tenants during various housing initiatives, ensuring that residents are informed, consulted, and supported throughout their journeys with us.

Please note that this position is a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities of the Tenant Liaison Officer:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, ensuring clear communication regarding housing initiatives, improvement works, and changes in policy.
  • Facilitate meetings and consultations with tenants to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure their needs are met during projects and transitions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to streamline processes and enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Provide tenants with essential information about timelines, processes, and available support related to their housing situation.
  • Identify and address any potential safeguarding issues in accordance with Together Housing and local policies.
  • Regularly monitor and report on tenant satisfaction and initiate improvements based on feedback.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working in a customer service or tenant liaison role, particularly within a housing association or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve tenant issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to tenant relations, ensuring that all residents feel valued and heard.
  • Knowledge of housing policies, regulations, and best practices related to tenant engagement and support.
  • Full Driving License
