Currently recruiting for a US listed business requiring an interim Group Financial Controller to join their finance team for approximately 6 months. The role is high profile within the organisation and will manage 4 finance teams with a total headcount of 15.
Key deliverables:
- Responsible for Group IFRS consolidated financial statements for inclusion in the Annual Report. Working with auditors to get financials reviewed.
- Production of SEC required 20-F Annual Report/6-K Quarterly reports.
- Liaising with Investor relations and FP&A to ensure Earnings Presentation and Press Releases are aligned to strategy.
- Coordination with Shared Service Centre and Outsource Service Provider on the review and submission of entity-level statutory accounts across Europe.
- Responsible for the identification and resolution of technical accounting issues
- Involvement in all phases of acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, consolidation and integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Work with the Finance Senior Leadership Team to ensure the business maintains strong Financial Controls.
- Responsible for the Internal Controls Framework, including policies and processes to meet audit requirements.
The successful candidate will be an ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified Accountant (ideally practice trained) with extensive post qualified experience within US listed businesses having strong knowledge of SEC regulations, IFRS and SOX controls.
