We're seeking a Senior Associate to join this growing employment team at their Bristol office. With a strong presence in the South West, particularly Bristol, they offer comprehensive advice on employment and HR matters, including data protection and business immigration.
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving team growth and ensuring exceptional client service, demonstrating expertise in the market/sector. As you develop your client base, you'll also oversee a small team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing expert legal counsel and representation to clients on a wide range of employment law matters.
- Managing a diverse portfolio of employment cases, overseeing all aspects from inception to resolution.
- Offering strategic guidance and planning to clients, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis, and drafting precise legal documents.
- Delivering client training sessions and workshops on employment law compliance and best practices.
- Representing clients in dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 6+ PQE
- Prior experience in an Employment team
- Strong client management and business development skills
- Ability to lead and manage a small team
- Solid business plan for department/sector growth
