We are looking for a Customer Support Advisor who will be responsible for responding to all customer enquiries regarding presales, orders, deliveries, payments and product information.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Support Advisor:
Responding to all customer enquiries regarding presales, orders, delivery, payment, sales days and product information effectively. Via digital channels such as live chat, email, social media, telephone or letter
Liaise with product specialists to arrange call backs or obtain further information for customers
Data input: Maintaining the highest standards in quality and productivity paying attention to accuracy and detail.
Process payments and sales orders efficiently and accurately
Arrange product valuations
Handle enquiries within SLA and ensure all commitments and promises are kept
Handling customer complaints ensuring customers are satisfied and the cause of the complaint is addressed
Working collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure, where possible, a first time resolution
Handling digital external communications ensuring professionalism in tone, grammar and manner in accordance with brand standards and understanding the impact on the brand and business, whilst considering customer expectations
Assist the Auctions Operations Team with pre and post auction which includes taking payments
Identify areas for process improvement
Promote a positive and professional image of the organisation
Handle general enquiries and directing calls as necessary
Skills required for the Customer Support Advisor:
Excellent standard of written and spoken English
A proven track record of excellent communication, concise, logical and positive. Is amiable confident and competent. Engages the customers and gains their confidence, conversing naturally and sincerely
An understanding of the lay-out of business correspondence and forms of address and can apply them appropriately. Also possesses an understanding of the subtle differences between e-mail and white-mail contact and the relevant formalities /informalities relating to both styles
Grammar, punctuation, spelling and paragraph-style are a natural skill as is an individual, professional style and confidence to write responses
Experience processing orders, payments and arranging deliveries is advantageous
Previous customer service or administration experience would be advantageous
IT competence, to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, outlook, CRM systems and social media.
