Due to continued success my Global market leading client have asked me to find them a Technical Product Owner. This role is pivotal in delivering client-centric value by adeptly managing a product backlog within an Agile Scrum framework. A deep understanding of client requirements, challenges, and objectives is essential to pinpoint how our innovative products can propel them towards their targets.

Key duties as the Technical Product Owner are:

  • Serve as a principal decision-maker, liaising with senior leadership and team members to devise and execute narratives that support our strategic goals.
  • Take ownership of the product backlog, establishing priorities, and ensuring tasks are sequenced for optimal impact.
  • Engage actively in the product/service lifecycle from inception to realisation, including strategy, process architecture, implementation, and realising benefits.
  • Bridge communication between the team and stakeholders, steering the team's focus on the most value-driven tasks.
  • Decompose complex features and epics into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria using the Given-When-Then Gherkin syntax.
  • Collaborate with the team on crafting UI/UX wireframes and prototypes, ensuring a user-centric design philosophy.
  • Exhibit a fervour for technological innovation and endorse the adoption of best practices in software development.

Essential Skills & Experience as the Technical product owner include:

  • Proficiency with technologies such as the Microsoft tech stack .Net or Python or Java.
  • Autonomous initiative-taker with a robust work ethic, capable of minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated client-oriented approach with a history of fulfilling user requirements.
  • Competent in dissecting problems to their core elements to identify superior solutions.
  • Exceptional communicative abilities, both in writing and verbally.
  • A methodical, data-informed mindset towards developing features.
  • Familiarity with user-centric design principles with a zest for UI/UX design and user experience.
  • An open and engaging manner, comfortable interacting with diverse internal and external groups.
  • A deeply ingrained sense of commitment and collaboration.
