Responsibilities:
As a Finance Assistant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the day-to-day operations of our client's finance department. You will be responsible for preparing daily cash requirements, assisting in regulatory reporting, supporting debt sale projects, and contributing to annual financial audits. Your collaborative nature will enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, providing crucial finance support for operational requirements. This role offers plenty of opportunities for development and exposure across various areas of the business.
- Prepare daily cash requirements and work closely with the Treasury Manager to ensure sufficient funds are available.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly FCA reports.
- Prepare payrun files and ensure all payments have been approved.
- Support on debt sale projects and own monthly reporting on these.
- Assist with the reconciliation of control accounts across multiple entities.
- Support the accounting team during the annual financial audit.
- Work with cross-functional teams across the business to provide finance support for operational requirements.
- Provide ad hoc support across the accounting, FP&A and treasury departments on projects and reporting requirements.
