My client is a well-established IFA practice with offices in Norfolk and Suffolk, offering bespoke advice to both corporate and private clients, this role will be based in their attractive office in central Norwich.
This role can be carried out on a hybrid basis and you will be able to work from home for up to three days per week post probation.
Key responsibilities:
The preparation of compliant Financial Planning Reports to meet specific client goals.
Fund research and analysis, both at client level and company level, with accurate recording and follow up where necessary.
Technical product and legislation research with solution provision.
Carrying out relevant financial planning calculations / tax calculations.
Consulting with the Wealth Managers / Financial Planner on client investment, pension, and tax planning and making suggestions and confirming proposed actions to the client.
Proficient in the use of IO Planning, and other relevant research software such as FE Analytics and Synaptic Research.
Effective time and caseload management.
You may be required to attend client meetings with the Wealth Manager/Financial Planner, contributing to the meetings, taking accurate minutes and following up with the client.
Providing technical support to the Wealth Managers/Financial Planners and other team members.
Providing ad hoc support to Corporate Team as required.
Answering technical client queries.
Updating the company's research file.
Accurate system updating on Intelliflo Office (IO).
Administration through wrap platforms utilised by the company (Transact, Nucleus, Fidelity Adviser Solutions etc) and other providers as required.
Contact clients by telephone, letter, email and face to face.
The ability to handle complex and sensitive queries which may have been delegated to you.
Work with Paraplanning Manager on projects to improve processes and output of work / efficiencies.
Take ownership of projects where appropriate, reporting back to Paraplanning Manager.
Qualifications:
GCSE Grade A-C or 9-4 including English and Maths (or equivalent)
CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or Financial Planning (or equivalent)
Other relevant financial services qualifications will be advantageous

At least 2 years' experience of working in a Paraplanning role within in a financial environment.
Good working knowledge and experience of using Intelliflo Office (iO) system. (Would be an advantage)
