Change Project Delivery Lead

Location: Central London
Salary: £200pd
Duration: Six month initial booking

Are you passionate about driving social purpose and transformational change in Higher Education? This role requires an experienced project manager to help embed the social purpose plan of this leading university. The role will involve:

  • Programme and Project Management: Create and implement PMO systems and controls, ensuring programme and project assurance across all workstreams. Format Project briefs and project deliverables.
  • Design and delivery of transformation workshops, meetings and events.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the focal point for enquiries and manage relationships with stakeholders across and outside the university.
  • Governance: strengthen existing processes, recommend and design new process and provide secretariat and governance support.
  • Project Delivery: Maintain overview throughout the project life cycles, manging risk, resources, timelines etc
  • Mentorship: Advise, guide, and mentor Transformation Team colleagues to develop the teams project management skills.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  1. Team Coordination:
  • Regular catch-ups with team members to understand their priorities.

  • Record essential information and provide value by recommending best practices.

  • Use coaching and mentoring skills to upskill team members.

  1. Sub-Group Management:
  • Attend and lead sub-group meetings to identify key outputs and manage progress.
  1. Programme and Project Planning:
  • Create a comprehensive master document detailing goals, outcomes, activities, and stakeholders.

  • Monitor timelines and milestones.

  1. Assurance and Reporting:
  • Use RAG rating to escalate risks and issues, offering solutions where appropriate.

  • Provide regular reports to the Associate Director of Social Purpose Transformation.

  1. Enquiry Management:
  • Manage and process all enquiries into the Transformation Team, creating and embedding engagement protocols.
  1. Communication and Engagement:
  • Circulate weekly and monthly bulletins to keep the team and wider community informed.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for external audiences.

  1. Secretariat and Governance Support:
  • Support weekly Transformation Team meetings, sub-group meetings, and events by designing agendas and recording actions and decisions.
  1. Horizon Scanning:
  • Regularly check in with team members and stakeholders to suggest new areas for team development.
