They are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Finance Business Partner to join their finance team and support the business objectives.

Position Overview:

The Junior Finance Business Partner will support financial planning, analysis, and business decision-making across the organisation. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in finance and a desire to develop their skills in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

  • Conduct financial analysis to support business unit performance and decision-making.

  • Prepare variance analysis reports and provide insights into financial performance.

Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  • Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to business units.

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Collaboration and Business Partnering:

  • Work closely with business units to understand their financial needs and challenges.

  • Provide financial support and insights to help business units achieve their objectives.

  • Foster strong working relationships across the organization.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

  • Support the implementation of new financial systems and tools.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining best practices in financial management.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

  • Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks to the business.

  • Support audit and regulatory requirements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field; experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
