Are you looking to commence a career in the property industry, but you don't want to work weekends? Then, this may be the role for you!

Our client provides a fully managed residential asset management sales service; delivered by experienced people with focus on optimising client value. As the UK's longest established asset management operation, they offer their corporate clients, both large and small, unrivalled experience and service in the disposal of their residential property assets.

As part of the Property Care Team, you will be responsible for the management of the property prior to marketing, which includes managing initial instructions and dealing with the instruction and oversight of third-party contractors.

You will take pride in ensuring that each property is managed to specific and measurable standards. You will be encouraged to challenge and negotiate best value quotes and completed works prior to final sign off. You will also be required to interact with the sales team to ensure tight cost controls and to assist in the challenge process to ensure essential works are undertaken.

Examples of what you will be doing:

  • Managing a property to market - overseeing fixed and quoted price works to prepare the property for market against the client's requirements and preparing & signing off standard maintenance reports
  • Negotiating best value quotes - building relationships with contractors to negotiate best value quotes, checking like for like pricing, and managing works through to completion
  • Arranging emergency works & repairs - working to secure properties against flooding, break-ins and vandalism, so at all times they are secure and weatherproof
  • Quality control - checking contractors have satisfactorily completed works by checking reports and photographs and arranging return visits to finish works and updating other parts of the business
  • Ad-hoc duties - no two properties are the same and similarly, your job role will not be the same day-to-day. You may be asked to complete tasks not covered by the above.

The package on offer will include a basic salary of £25,000, plus a £5,200 per annum bonus enabling you to earn £30,200.

In addition, you will also be provided with fantastic benefits such as 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a day off for your birthday, free mortgage advice, 0.5% sales fee, modern light & airy office premises with on-site café and activities, on-going training and development, and much more! There is also on-site parking available.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
