Our client is seeking an Group Financial Reporting Manager for 15 months to join their dynamic team in Manchester. Key Responsibilities

As an Group Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing legal entities, preparing comprehensive reporting packs for the Board, and providing logical explanations for any fluctuations. Your excellent skills in using financial data will be utilised in preparing and recording general ledger journal entries. You will also be responsible for preparing cash and balance sheet account reconciliations. A key part of your role will involve partnering with various internal stakeholders, providing them with the necessary information required for tax returns, insurance documentation, and other pertinent entity details. You will also review aged rec breaks to ensure all items are appropriately reserved and produce detailed legal entity analytical packs.

  • Manage legal entities and prepare legal entity reporting packs for the Board
  • Provide logical explanations for fluctuations ensuring that the P&L and Balance sheet are materially correct at an entity level
  • Use financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries
  • Prepare cash and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Business partner with various stakeholders internally
  • Review aged rec breaks to ensure that all items appropriately reserved and produce detailed legal entity analytical packs
  • Build relationships across group and operational finance to maximise results
