Position: HGV Driver (Category C)
Shift Hours: 1:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 48 hours (including a 30minute unpaid lunch break)
Salary: £35,300 per annum
Location: Hemel Hempstead - Primarily covering areas around Barking, Romford, and Basildon
Job Type: FullTime, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable HGV Driver (Category C) to join our clients team for an early morning shift. This role involves dealer drops, which means you will be delivering bulk products to our dealers who then sell them under their own brand. You will be responsible for making 8 to 9 drops daily, primarily around Barking, Romford, and Basildon.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV (Category C) vehicle to make bulk deliveries.
Ensure timely deliveries to our dealers in the specified regions.
Perform pre and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
Maintain accurate delivery records and handle all necessary paperwork.
Provide excellent customer service during interactions with our dealers.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Category C license.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
A reliable and professional attitude.
