We are working in partnership with a secondary school in North Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Design and Technology teacher to join their team. You will be teaching Design and Technology to KS3 and KS4. ECTs are welcome to apply.
Job Description:
- Delivering engaging and creative Design and Technology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology or related field
- Recent experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
