Head of Residential Property Management

Overview:

The Head of Residential Property Management will oversee the management and operation of a portfolio of high-end residential properties in Prime Central London. This role requires a strong leader with a comprehensive understanding of AST property management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage and lead a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 including property managers and administrators, ensuring high performance and excellent service delivery.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day management of an elite personal residential property portfolio, ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards across the team.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for more complex property owners and tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, minimise arrears and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies for property management, including maintenance schedules, tenant retention initiatives, and sustainability practices.
  • Crisis Management: Handle emergencies and crisis situations efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and property owners. Resolve escalated complaints.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in residential property management, particularly within London.
  • ARLA Level 3 desirable
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of property legislation and compliance in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial reporting.
