RG Consultancy are working with an excellent construction company based in Halifax who are looking for an accounts assistant/accounts payable clerk to join the finance team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be joining a small team and will report into the finance manager within the company.
Duties will include:
- Processing high volume purchase invoices
- Matching and coding invoices to a high standard
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly BACS payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT and CIS returns
- Processing wages onto SAGE Payroll
- Other ad hoc duties - working closely with the finance manager
Skills:
- SAGE accounting knowledge would be an advantage
- Understanding of payroll - not essential
