Station Manager

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Goal Setting:
- Align department goals with our business priorities.
Leadership and Customer Service:
- Lead a team of Service Leaders to provide exceptional customer service and uphold brand excellence during every shift.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day department operations, including stock control and cash handling.
Financial Performance:
- Be accountable for achieving sales, margin, and waste targets, analysing budgets, managing costs, and ensuring profitability.
Customer-Centric Approach:
- Continuously improve our offerings by viewing the business from our customers' perspective and seizing commercial opportunities.
People Management:
- Manage Service Leaders and colleagues, handle scheduling and shifts, and provide coaching.
Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements.
Talent Acquisition and Development:
- Collaborate with the People Team to recruit, train, and elevate colleagues' performance.
Collaboration with Commercial Team:
- Work closely with the Commercial team to uphold product standards.
Food Safety Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and paperwork for Deli products, including wraps, baguettes, sausage rolls, and pies.
Preferred experience
- Catering and or retail background
- Leadership experience
- Good commercial acumen
- Experience of managing and developing teams
