Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (40 hours), Hybrid working
Our client, a leading frozen food provider, are looking for their next Buying Assistant. You will be supporting the Purchasing Manager with the execution of purchasing strategies to maximise competitiveness in line with business requirements.

Requirements:
- Strong administration skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative and multitask
- Ability to work independently and take long term projects through to completion
- Driven and eager to learn
- Strong data organisational skills
- Firm commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent IT and Excel skills
- Previous experience of working in a food/FMCG environment
- Works well with others and a good team player
The Role:
- Develop effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and complete all procurement administration.
- Support the Procurement Manager with the preparation for tenders ensuring information is accurately recorded and up to date.
- Support the Procurement Manager through regular and accurate Contract Balance Management and regular stock cover updates.
- Administration of (MRP platform) inputting contracts and keeping data up to date.
