A leading mortgage organization in Chippenham is expanding and seeks a Mortgage Administrator / Coordinator.

Salary: £23,500 per annum

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid: Three days working from home, two days in the Chippenham office
  • Monday to Friday
  • Choice of 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm shifts

Contract:

  • Fixed-term six-month contract with the potential to become permanent
  • Salary: £23,000 per annum, plus bonus

Role Overview: You will support the Regional Sales Directors and Broker Services Team by providing comprehensive assistance throughout the application process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Vetting and assessing the suitability of new recruits for FCA registration.
  • Managing applications for advisers, lead generators, and introducers.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and conducting due diligence.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the Broker Services Workflow system.
  • Collaborating with the Broker Services Team to manage workflow and service levels.
  • Providing ongoing support to customers post-appointment.
  • Handling ad-hoc projects and supporting the network's values and objectives.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Intermediate IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Experience in building successful relationships with stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Companies House and FCA requirements for adviser recruitment
  • Experience in financial services administration

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and meet quality standards
  • Experience in an administrative role; property and mortgage experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Proficient in Excel
