This role calls for an Interim HR Business Partner with a keen interest in the public sector. The successful candidate will have a strong HRBP background, ideally within healthcare/public sector and a team player who can hit the ground running!

Description

  • Responsibility for HR Business Partnering, working closely with the Directors, Deputy and Associate Directors, Regional Heads and Heads of Service

  • Lead responsibility for organisation wide initiatives and programmes, with designated portfolios e.g.:

  • Workforce planning, succession planning and talent management

  • Health & Wellbeing, Rewards and Staff Engagement

  • Recruitment & Selection, Equality & Diversity and Pay (including job evaluation)

  • Provide professional, specialist and comprehensive HR advice and support including advising on highly complex employee relation cases

  • Responsible for managing or coaching the HR team and matrix managing the wider HROD team from time to time.

The post holder will be expected to understand the nature of working in regulated services with registered professionals.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR role within the public sector/healthcare setting (ideally).
  • Excellent knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR management software.
  • Understanding of strategic business goals and objectives.
