Sales Coordinator

Reed Leeds Business Support are recruiting on behalf of an established wholesalers based in Leeds. Our client is seeking a coordinator to oversee the entire cask process, from procurement to sales. This role is integral to maintaining the client's reputation as the fastest growing privately owned drinks company in Britain. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage the cask levels and customer expectations to ensure high standards of customer service
  • Produce a monthly depot cask flyer, negotiating prices and deals with Brewers and determining the sell-out price to customers while ensuring margin maintenance
  • Communicate details of the monthly flyer to Telesales & Account Managers and ensure stock availability
  • Email flyers to customers promptly
  • Take ownership of dates and stock rotation to minimise any short-dated stock
  • Maintain the cask board within the Telesales area for visibility on availability, dates, colour, ABV, and price
  • Liaise with National/Local Brewers to organise Cask Drive Days and produce target lists from relevant cask information for Telesales
  • Promote the sale of Signature Cask Ales
  • Maintain the buying bible with net prices, verify incoming invoices, and authorise for payment
  • Foster strong relationships with Warehouse, Account Managers & Telesales, and communicate effectively across all departments
  • Store customer information on the system, including the number of hand pulls on the bar, email addresses for Cask Flyer distribution, and ale preferences
  • Assist with basic administration tasks within the office

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of cask ales – desirable not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external customers
