Treasury Manager

We are seeking a Finance and Banking Manager to oversee our finance operations and manage a team of Clerks and Administrators. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing significant payment runs and a large volume of bank reconciliations, while also being an effective people manager.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee payment runs twice a week, handling amounts between £350k - £600k.
- Process approximately 650 invoices per week as part of a team.
- Manage bank reconciliations for around 500 bank accounts.
- Supervise a team of 6-7 Clerks, Purchase Ledger staff, and Administrators.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions and records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to meet financial deadlines.
- Provide leadership and support to the finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in finance management, particularly within a busy environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with financial systems, preferably with experience using Prop software.
