Our client are an award winning, long established, specialist procurement and sourcing organisation, supplying a range of IT, Industrial, Mechanical and Electrical products across the globe. They are looking for a hardworking export administrator, with strong organisational skills and good attention to detail to work as part of their export administration team.

We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Order Expeditor to join our dynamic team.

  • *Job Description:**

As a Procurement Order Expeditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products to support our operations and all associated administration being completed. Your primary role will be to monitor and expedite orders, request purchase orders from the manage vendor relationships, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure that procurement processes run smoothly.

  • *Key Features of the role:
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal procurement, finance and warehouse teams
  • Create, monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of order statuses, delivery times, and any issues encountered.
  • Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on order status and procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related experience in relevant field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to negotiate and influence others in order to achieve favourable outcomes
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
