Graduate Commercial Pricing Analyst

As Our clients expand globally, they are looking for a talented and analytical Graduate to join their Commercial Team as a Pricing Executive.

As a Pricing Executive, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a schedule for the regular and accurate updating of all price books both direct and indirect to external and internal stakeholders.

This role is based in our head office in Bracknell, Berkshire.

This is an office-based vacancy and as such we expect all applicants to be willing to commute to our offices 5 days per week.

Key responsibilities of the role...

Product Knowledge

  • Key to the success of the role will be to maintain a close relationship with the Product Managers to understand our product and pricing structures and what additional products or product pricing structures are being planned.
  • A broad knowledge of the features and functionality of the existing product suite.

Quoting

  • Able to work with the Sales team to ensure that they are correctly implementing the agreed price books within quotes to customers.
  • Attend where necessary Sales meeting to provide pricing up-dates and periodic training.
  • Periodic/Selective review of quotes at sales order stage to ensure pricing is correct.

Pricing

  • Manage price books to ensure ease of use
  • Quarterly review of the price book and running internal review and sign-off process of updates
  • Ensuring these price books are correctly loaded into internal tools of CKS Quoting and Project Portal
  • Ensuring that partners have signed changes to pricing
  • Work with Legal to ensure our terms and conditions allow the changes to pricing that are required as well as ensure lists of exceptions are kept up-to-date.

Commercials

  • Take the information contained within Pricing Proposals and reflect them in the Price Book.
  • Manage requests from the Sales team for ad hoc pricing from suppliers such as telephony carriers.
  • Ensure usage rate cards are up-to-date.
  • Work with Procurement team to get 'best price' for bespoke solutions and apply agreed margins to costs.

About you...

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant analytical subject, including Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, 2:1 or above,
  • Previous experience in a Pricing / commercial role is desirable.
  • Previous knowledge/understanding of the telecommunications industry.
  • Past experience at creating and maintaining detailed/complex Excel based spreadsheets and data repositories.
  • Capable and confident to interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Organised and good communicator.
  • Strong numerical and data management skills.
  • Quick, eager learner. Resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and able to self-check own work.
