You'll need to have knowledge of accounting/finance procedures which you will have gained from your relevant degree, or from your AAT studies. By bringing this knowledge and your enthusiasm to learn and develop, my client will give you all the training you need to become an experienced Credit Controller.
Your duties will include
- Liasing with customers with regards to payments that are due or overdue
- Updating customer accounts
- Allocating cash onto customer accounts
- Reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Taking part in finance meetings and presenting on the status of your customer accounts
A high level of computer literacy is essential for this role, you'll be working on multiple systems and Excel on a daily basis.
