Description
- Overseeing all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to maintain the financial health of the organisation.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
- Managing organisational cash flow and forecasting.
- Ensuring compliance with the law and the organisation's policies.
- Engaging with auditors for annual audit process.
- Contributing to the development of the organisation's strategic goals.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Professional certification in CIMA or ACCA.
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in not-for-profit sector.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements and general financial reporting.
- Excellent accounting software user administration skills..
