Hyde is looking to recruit a Transport Manager.

As a Transport Manager at Hyde, you will be working within our Property Services department to oversee the efficient operation of our fleet, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and safety across all vehicles and related activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage Hyde's relationship with the current fleet management company and oversee fleet upgrades or replacements.
- Coordinate fuel card management, service schedules, and telematics installations.
- Ensure compliance with fleet safety and environmental standards.
- Monitor and track hired plant, issuing regular reports to Senior Management.
- Develop and implement cost-effective fleet strategies, including the integration of electric vehicles.
- Travel to our London & Kent offices will be required
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in fleet management or a related field, with a strong understanding of fleet operations, vehicle procurement, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse data and inform decision-making.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to fleet operations.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
