HR Assistant 12 Month FTC

We are looking for an exceptional HR Assistant for this 12-month fixed term contract role, who will work closely with the generalist HR team to support client groups, requiring exceptional organisational skills, a strong focus on service delivery, and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.

Joining this firm means becoming part of a global team where over 70% of work involves collaboration across the firm. In London, the team covers various HR functions, including recruitment, learning and development, and diversity, working closely with international colleagues.

As the HR Assistant your key responsibilities will include coordinating pre-employment checks, managing new joiner inductions, supporting recruitment, handling probation reviews, assisting with performance reviews, drafting change of terms letters, and managing leaver administration. You will also maintain the HR database, produce reports, and handle general administrative tasks. The ability to manage high volumes and varied work activities is essential.

The ideal candidate will have strong HR administrative experience in a professional services environment, proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and strong drafting skills. Confidentiality, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills are crucial to make this role a success.
