Seeking a proficient Mechanical Project Engineer with a strong background in the industrial/manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage projects, handle technical issues, and collaborate effectively with the engineering and manufacturing team.

Description

  • Manage and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure project success
  • Resolve technical issues and ensure the highest quality control standards
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

Profile

A successful 'Mechanical Project Engineer' should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a project engineer in the industrial/manufacturing industry
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
