Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join our client's team on the outskirts of Maidstone. This contract position is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a key role in steering the financial direction of the company during a period of transition.
**Financial Controller
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the operations of the finance department, including the design of an organisational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure credibility of the finance team by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company.

- Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficient in business planning, legal issues, and finance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting or related field.
