About the role

Are you an ambitious Private Client Tax Director looking for a route to Partnership? We are looking to appoint a new Director to lead our highly successful Private Client Tax team in Reading into an exciting new era.

Our successful Thames Valley team in central Reading is going from strength to strength. Client numbers, fee income and headcount have grown year-on-year. About you

You will be able to provide examples of impressive client work that demonstrate your ability to skilfully build and maintain lasting business relationships. You'll also showcase an innate talent to develop new and existing business, leading to the growth and success of your team and the Private Client business.

You'll be an inspiring leader and bring a cooperative, empowering and influential managerial style to the team. You'll have a natural instinct of when to delegate, when to support, when to take a lead - and most importantly, how to do these things in the right way. Your team will be inspired by the example you set and will be motivated to deliver brilliant work for their clients.

You'll be a highly respected and credible 'go-to' person for everyone in the office for all matters relating to Private Client Tax, using your technical knowledge to support Directors and Partners in solving client and commercial challenges in a fresh and innovative way.

You will demonstrate great leadership qualities as well as strong technical experience and knowledge. We'd expect that you will have had some notable experience in another leadership role in Private Client Tax, with some equally notable achievements to showcase your success.
