.NET Developer with Umbraco experience
Overview
ASA Recruitment is searching for a .Net Developer with Umbraco experience to support our public sector client for the next 6-12 months. This client is based in Livingston. However, the successful candidate can work in office or from home on a full-time basis.
The role
You will be responsible for the life cycle of public web forms end to end. This will include design, creation and bug fixing. Our client will be transitioning to a new code development platform in the next 4-6 months and the successful candidate will ensure that the current system is ready for transition. There is an opportunity to possibly extend this contract beyond the initial 6-month period to support with this transition.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that the latest code build is safeguarded and up to date on the ILF Scotland Github
- Ensure that ILF Scotland can deploy the full environment in an Azure test site and on the SCOTS Devnet environment
- Ensure that there is a robust protocol for the deployment of the application in the Live environment and an appropriate level of documentation is available
- Develop changes to the application as prioritised in the backlog using Jira
- Support the migration of the web portals to the Scottish Government Cloud
- Support the rewrite of the web portals in OutSystems should this be confirmed
Essential experience required
- Net Entity framework
- Umbraco Microsoft (managing users, page layouts)
- SQL Server Encryption using "SQL Server - Always encrypted" or similar
Desired experience
- Github or a similar code repository
- Azure Cloud
- Familiar with SSL Certificates and other standard web security protocol
Suitable candidates must:
- Be available for interview on the 27th or 28th of June
- Be able to being working early July
- Have BPSS basic clearance or the ability to obtain it without issue
