Exciting opportunity for an accomplished Analytical Chemist to progress their career in team management!
Within this leading food & drinks chemistry testing laboratory, you will be appointed at management level, holding a high level of responsibility for general laboratory conduct and ensuring departmental targets are met through effective scheduling and resourcing of daily work tasks.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Team leadership including motivation, development, training and recruitment.
- Authorisation of analytical data and writing reports.
- Monitoring of daily tasks and team workload.
- Analytical testing and troubleshooting as required.
- Ensuring departmental compliance to ISO 17025 regulations
Applications are invited from experienced Senior Analytical Chemists who have worked with HPLC/GC/LC-MS/ICP-MS instrumentation within a regulated industry laboratory, ideally in an ISO 17025 environment. To be considered you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience supervising or managing Scientists within the laboratory setting and have a flair for motivating and developing your team.
