We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join our dedicated team, delivering a comprehensive science curriculum up to Key Stage 4, including Key Stage 3. This permanent role offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the wonders of science, fostering their curiosity and understanding of the world around them.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare and deliver stimulating science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular themes and to share best practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school training, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Encourage student participation in science-related activities and competitions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Experience teaching science across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
