We are hiring now for a dynamic, technically minded and articulate PPM/Field Service Engineer - Walker, to join our Technical Services team. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who do not drive and will attend to our customer sites via the use of underground and public transport.
The purpose of the role
Is to represent BRITA on our customers site premises to complete PPM filter exchanges, diagnose faults and repair the BRITA Vivreau product range equipment as directed by the Service Delivery Planners, ensuring expectations are met, and that steps are taken to prevent faults from reoccurring.
The day to day deliverables will include
- Complete fault diagnosis and repairs on the BRITA Vivreau product range, ensuring that all Health & Safety and site processes are adhered to.
- Ensure that steps are taken to prevent faults from re-occurring and that jobs are fixed on the first visit whenever possible.
- Report issues and ensure that they are appropriately resolved or escalated.
- Manage all spare parts, by logging stock usage via PDA to ensure safety stock levels are adequately maintained.
- Ensure all tools/tool bags are inspected before use and used in line with the manufacturer's guidelines, reporting any defects or loss to the line manager.
- Complete all administration, site surveys, and job notes within the specified time frame.
In order to be successful in the role;
You will need to be comfortable with travel via the London underground network.
You are detail orientated, organised and approachable with a positive "Can Do"! attitude, and have the ability to use your initiative while possessing a high level of customer service excellence.
Previous experience within the Plumbing industry would be ideal, however your technical, solutions orientated approach will be superb!
