Your new company
A leading business telecoms provider in the UK, with over 20 years of industry experience. They operate a UK-wide business-only telecoms network, providing high-capacity fibre connectivity and collaboration solutions. They have a significant presence across the UK, with over 600 points of presence and 90 commercial data centres on-net. They are proud of their heritage in building, operating, and maintaining networks for a broad range of customers. As such, they are now seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to help them on this journey.

Your new role
In this role you will be managing key supplier contracts that underpin the organisations operational needs. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with a skilled cross-functional team and will have significant interaction with C-level stakeholders. The role requires a business generalist with the ability to influence at all levels and contribute broadly. Key responsibilities include effective management of BAU supplier contracts that support the network and the delivery of services to their customers. The role involves ensuring contractual compliance and monitoring supplier performance. The Contracts Manager will need to understand how contracts align with network support costs or customer contracts. You will also be responsible for liaising with suppliers and obtaining pricing for BAU requirements, pre-sales, and bid support, ensuring that the organisation obtains the best value. You will manage the vendor library, identifying and progressing contracts due for review or renewal. Regular reviews with key stakeholders will be established to understand any supplier issues and provide updates on contract performance and compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital part in their operations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience operating in a fast-paced environment as part of a high-performing commercial function. You will be supplier-focused, possessing a positive, challenger mentality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Relevant commercial experience is essential, including a thorough understanding of commercial finance, contracts, and the management and growth of assets. Knowledge of the Telecoms industry is crucial, as is experience in negotiating and managing contracts within this environment. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the use of market, supplier, and customer insights to identify commercial levers that create value and drive supplier efficiencies. Strong communication skills are required, including literacy, numeracy, and structured communication, with excellent verbal and presentation skills up to C-board level. The ability to multi-task and work in an agile manner in response to business needs is also important. Finally, a willingness to learn and progress to improve both personal and team performance is key.

What you'll get in return
Enjoy benefits like flexible working arrangements, 26 days of annual leave, and an annual bonus plan. They match pension contributions up to 6%, offer a 4x salary life assurance, and encourage community involvement with two paid volunteering days per year. They provide access to LinkedIn Learning, health and wellness benefits, and a wide range of retail discounts. Experience a supportive and rewarding work environment with them.
