Job Title: Senior Portfolio Analyst Location: Remote working (Client based in Leeds and London) Contract: Inside IR35 Hours/Duration: Full time, 5 days per week. Initial 6 Month contract with potential to be extended.

The role of Senior Portfolio Analyst
We are recruiting for our client, who are a global information and data insights company based in Leeds and are looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Analyst to assist with building and developing their Global Ops PMO Team. This role is initially expected to last for 6 months with some potential to be extended. This role will be worked largely as a remote engagement; however, some site attendance may be necessary on odd occasions and therefore will suit somebody in the locality of Leeds, or within reasonable commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, promote and ensure adoption of the PMO Change and Governance framework, tools and processes to ensure adherence to change standards and methods
  • Proactively monitor projects against expectations
  • Be a key contributor to the ongoing expansion of the PMO Team, providing expert input to the development of services such as prioritisation modelling, resource management and stakeholder communications.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the PMO services and processes by identifying and driving continuous improvement to enable effective delivery of the global portfolios.
  • Lead and develop the reporting processes for the portfolios
  • Support mentor and act as a subject matter for the PMO Programs Teams
  • Deputise for the Governance and Assurance Director when required

The successful applicants should have demonstrable experience in a Senior Portfolio Analyst role, working in a global business. You need to be a dynamic, self-motivated individual, who is analytical, with excellent communication skills. You should be proactive and organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ideally holding a qualification in either Prince2, P30 Foundation, P30 Practitioner or AIPMO.

You will also have experience of:

  • leading, motivating, coaching and developing teams
  • practically applying governance and control processes
  • using a variety of project management and PMO tools such as Smartsheet, Jira and Clarity
  • working collaboratively across organisational boundaries of a global business
