The Internal Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in streamlining internal communications and fostering a positive culture within our not-for-profit organisation. This role will require the successful candidate to develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure clear communication across all levels of the organisation.

Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies.
  • Write and edit communications including newsletters, emails, and internal announcements.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure consistency in internal messages.
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.
  • Advise senior management on communication issues and strategies.
  • Measure and present results of communication efforts.
  • Coordinate with HR department for internal communications regarding company policies and programs.
  • Foster a positive company culture through effective internal communications.

Profile

A successful Internal Communications Officer should have:

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Strong background in Internal Communications, open to sector / background
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing internal communication strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
  • The ability to manage sensitive information and handle crisis communication.
