Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant position will include:
- Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports, providing detailed variance analysis and commentary.
- Month-End Procedures: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of financial data, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, providing forecasts and working capital analysis to ensure financial stability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate financial planning aligned with business objectives.
- Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to provide financial insights, supporting them in achieving financial targets and making informed business decisions.
- Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven track record in management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Competent Excel skills and experience with financial software.
