Lecturer in Travel and Tourism - Aviation

Join our client's dynamic team, where they offer a range of travel-related courses with a focus on the airline/aviation and hospitality industries. We are looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Travel and Tourism, specialising in Aviation, to help prepare our learners for exciting careers in the sector or for further education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach a range of Travel and Tourism courses to students, predominantly aged 16-19, from Level 1 to Level 5, with a special focus on Aviation.
- Engage and motivate young vocational learners, ensuring a stimulating learning environment that supports student success.
- Collaborate with local employers at and around Heathrow Airport to enhance course relevance and career readiness.
- Participate in the continuous development of the curriculum to meet industry standards and trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area; a degree is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the travel industry, particularly in aviation.
- Some teaching or training experience, with a passion for educational development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging a diverse student body.
- Willingness to undertake a fully funded Level 5 teaching qualification at the College.
