Classroom Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated Classroom Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Poulton. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum. The position offers a friendly and supportive environment, with the role commencing in June 2024 and concluding at the end of the academic year in July 2024.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and motivate students.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
  • Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom that respects all students.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers and staff.
