Key Responsibilities-
- Process supplier invoices and employee expenses onto the automated accounts system for multiple currency databases
- Check expense claim receipts against company policy and identify VAT to reclaim in accordance with HMRC guidelines
- Handle supplier queries and requests for payment while verifying supplier bank details
- Perform weekly supplier and expense payment runs along with daily bank reconciliations for sterling and multiple currency accounts
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain cash flow spreadsheets
- Execute month-end tasks including Fixed Asset capitalisation, depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Engage in process improvement initiatives as required
Ideal candidate-
- AAT or similar accounting qualification would be advantageous or qualified by experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data effectively
- Team player with a cooperative attitude
- Proactive approach towards problem-solving
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
- Openness to change and continuous improvement
