We are working with a Sawston based company who are looking for a Junior Administration Assistant to join their team. This role involves managing the purchasing of products for consumer research, supporting the Finance Manager in the smooth running of the office, and assisting with finance tasks to deliver accurate and timely monthly accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be well-organised, and able to meet deadlines while being flexible to the changing needs of the business.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Meet required deadlines for the purchase of products.
- Deal with queries.
- Monitor and order office supplies as required, regularly reviewing sources and supplier terms for cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure offices are maintained at an optimum standard, coordinating with external cleaning and maintenance providers as needed.
- Process expense claims and approve Fieldworker.
- Reconcile bank accounts and nominal accounts.
- Process vouchers and incentives.
- Assist with sales and purchase ledger.
- Process new starters onto the Company Pension Scheme
This client is ideally looking for a graduate or recent school leaver who is looking for a first position, however will also consider those with some existing administration experience looking for a move into a broader position.
Candidates should have a good standard of education, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and a mature and professional attitude. It is also necessary that candidates have experience using Microsoft Office packages and are capable of working well with others.
Due to the location and nature of this position, it is necessary that candidates wishing to be considered for this position have their own transport.
