KS2, Year 5/6 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

GSL Education is seeking a KS2, Year 5/6 Teacher to work school in Beverley.
Job Summary: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, covering core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Foundation subjects like History, Geography, Art, and Physical Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching KS2, specifically Years 5 and 6.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
